:: Merely here to barbecue & boogaloo. 🌐✨ . . also, if i could wear a romper every effin day of the year, i would. . . also also, it is weird to see how long your own legs really are in a photo. i normally don’t think about these things until somebody says “omg your legs are so long” or i try on some regular length pants that explicitly reveal the full on glory of my ankles. so anyway, yeah…rompers. 🤙🏾 . . #disco #boogie #mirrorball #art #party #mural #atlanta #streetart #model #awkwardpose #discoball #plussizemodel #curvemodel #selfie #romper #plussizefashion #star #legs #corduroy #tall #curvy #atlantamodel #vegasmodel #discokroger #wallart #landmark #hiddengem #scavengerhunt #barbecue #boogaloo

Let’s talk about Power💙🙌🏾An Attending once told me that as a physician, I’ll be a leader at all times. Especially this year, my clinical year, I’ve seen what I want that leadership to look like…and what I don’t want it to look like. So many in this field, some Residents in particular, feel that intimidation is the best way to teach. It was done to them. Why not do it to others? Being extremely short with students or not even acknowledging them at all. Kicking students out of surgeries. Belittling students until they’re in tears. Writing awful evaluations after just one day. All ridiculous. All unecessary. As a medical student, I think it’s imperative to remember these experiences and, in the future, actually refuse to repeat them. I believe in fostering a positive and peaceful learning environment where the objective is to teach, not embarrass. So grateful for the Attendings and Residents who believe the same. I can’t wait to pay it forward in the near future once I’m a Resident. I especially want to embrace the introverts rather than make them feel being reserved is somehow a hindrance. Remember how you were treated when you graduate to the next level and be mindful to make your workspace a little bit sweeter. Real Power is kind and helpful to others💙👩🏾‍⚕️Happy Friday, y’all! • • • Shop my suit and accessories (pearls!!!) with the @liketoknow.it app! • • • http://liketk.it/2CnBB #liketkit #LTKworkwear #LTKspring #LTKcurves #atlantafashionblogger #blackfashionblogger #blackgirlswhoblog #instafashionist #naturalista #stylereport #shopthelook #momentsofchic #wearitloveit #chicworkchick #styleadvice #stylewatch #womensweardaily #fashionbomb #medicalstudentblogger #medicalstudentstyle #surgeonista #MDtoBe #RoadToMD #surgeryandthecity #nontraditionalmedstudent
