Step 1: Did She Really Say 5:15 AM?

Jessica Alba’s morning routine starts at 5:15 in the morning. Yikes! In a video for Self, she explains that a couple of days a week she wakes up early for a hot yoga class. Hot yoga is an intense variation of a yoga workout in an extremely hot and humid room. This type of workout allows you to sweat away the extra pounds on top of gaining flexibility and agility.

How does she do it, though? Alba uses a crucial mix of a loud alarm and lots of strong coffee. “I’m going to be straight with you,” Alba says in her video with Self. “I don’t like working out, but I feel really good after. It gives me energy. It just sets a good foundation for the day.”

Step 2: A 5-minute make-up Routine? Ha, Okay!

No, really! Alba swears by her 5-minute make-up routine. She loves healthy and organic products and lives a healthy lifestyle, and that doesn’t stop when it comes to what she eats. According to Live Strong’s website, Alba wasn’t much of a breakfast eater until she found the perfect holistic nutritionist and wellness expert for her busy lifestyle, Kelly LeVeque, who convinced her to start her mornings with at least a smoothie.
